Pastor Skip Haynes

Pastor Paul “Skip” Haynes has served in ministry for over 25 years. His calling grew naturally out of faithfully following Jesus and serving in successful lay ministry throughout the 1990s. From 2001–2005, he was licensed and ordained through the CTMA, further confirming his lifelong commitment to pastoral ministry.

At City Church, Pastor Skip oversees Celebrate Recovery, Newcomers Ministry, Missions, and Facilities. He is passionate about evangelism and loves helping people discover the life-changing hope found in Christ. Whether he is leading recovery groups, welcoming new families, or guiding mission efforts, Pastor Skip brings steady leadership, compassion, and a genuine heart for people.

When he’s not serving, Pastor Skip enjoys golfing, hiking in nature, and participating in competitive pool tournaments. His joyful spirit, humor, and dedication make him a beloved part of the City Church family.
